Movie Night: Inferno
When Robert Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Dr. Sienna Brooks, and together they must race across Europe against the clock to foil a deadly global plot.
Inferno was okay but it just didn't carry the same weight as The Da Vinci Code did.
I didn't think the pacing of the movie was very good and I didn't particularly care for the actress who was chosen to play Sienna. She lacked the personality and vibrancy I was expecting and hoping to find in a lead actress, especially in a film like this.
The whole movie felt more than a little numb which prevented me from personally engaging in the same emotional intensity or interest that The Da Vinci Code did.
