Movie Night: Tomorrowland
Bound by a shared destiny, a teen bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor embark on a mission to unearth the secrets of a place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory.
I think Tomorrowland will appeal to both young and old alike.
The older viewers who know Epcot and Tomorrowland's history with Disney will be interested because for those who know that Disney's original idea for a self governing futuristic city in Epcot and in space will be happy to see some of his ideas brought to life in a (very) small way.
For young viewers there is plenty of CGI as well as an exciting journey to take part of while inserting Disney's usual underlining hook / lesson for its family viewers which is that the world is what you make of it. Do/think bad you get bad as a result and it reflects on the world, do/think good and you can save the world through innovators of hope.
I personally enjoyed watching Tomorrowland because well... George Clooney. I'm not going to lie.
I thought Tomorrowland was a good movie and I think many others will as well. (Side note: Tim McGraw... please stop acting.)
