Piercing the Darkness
I received a digital copy in exchange for an honest review from Samhain.
Despite being confused as far as the history for most of the book I actually really enjoyed Piercing the Darkness a lot. I thought it was funny, witty, and I loved the supernatural world Angela has created.
I really wish that I'd read the previous books in the series because there are quite a few references to Hilda and Canes past relationship that she doesn't quite explain for readers that are new to the series starting with this book (like myself) however I enjoyed getting to see Cade and Hilda reunite. I thought they were a great couple and I had a great time being a part of the journey.
