Slow Burn
I received a print copy in exchange for an honest review. I wasn't expecting to enjoy Slow Burn as much I did but honestly it really became one of my favorite books by the time I finished it. I can promise you that there will be frustration, there will be the possibility of tears, and quite a bit of pillow hugging moments mixed with some pillow tossing moments between the two.
There are a few areas in the book that bring up history I am not quite sure link to possible previous books in the Driven series but Bromberg gives readers just enough information to give new readers a general idea of what linked the current book (Slow Burn) to past events.
There is so much complexity that is involved in Haddies journey from beginning to end and the fact that she is so closed off is something I think all readers can understand and sympathize with.
I am so happy and grateful to the author and the publishing company for supplying this book. Haddie is a character that really connected to me on a personal level and I will always hold her close. Thank you so much, what an amazingly written book.
