Only Caine knows he can never be the white knight that Alexa has always longed for. And when they're on the precipice of danger, he finds he’ll do anything to protect either one of them from being hurt again
| I received a print copy in exchange for an honest review from Berkley.
I mostly rated this book so high because the sex was good. That being said I really could have liked Alexa and Caine a lot more if their childish antics and temperament - including the treatment of each other didn't grate on my nerves so much. The story itself is one with enough intriguing ends to keep you interested through the book so I rated it overall at four stars.
