In this sizzling continuation of the Mastered series by New York Times bestselling author Lorelei James, a man will find the domination he’s always craved…
Shiori Hirano and Knox Lofgren are left to run the martial arts program at Black Arts while Ronin Black travels. On the surface, the two highest ranked belts appear to cooperate—but in private, they butt heads constantly, despite the undeniable attraction between them. At first Knox is shocked to be living out his submissive desires, but Shiori sets out to prove that embracing his true sexual nature doesn’t make him a weak man. I received a print and digital copy in exchange for an honest review from Berkley. Unraveled appears to be a stand alone novel of the Mastered series even though I haven't read the previous books I felt that Unraveled was a decent read. Although I don't care for submissive males it was an interesting twist to have in the story because its not overly done and at the same time Lorelei manages to write an even give in both her characters where they meet in the middle of their relationship both in and out of the bedroom. Although neither Shiori or Knox is what they appear to be on the inside, it was an interesting dynamic to watch them play off of eachother. |
