Filthy Rich is an excellent tease of a book. It has some emotional depth that the author skims along for Celeste's character background which explains some of her hesitancy even though she doesn't quite push away all that much with Nartan even with his power passion hungry desires that seem to overwhelm her. In the end he is more passion than power and the two of them even eachother out quite well. Nartan makes her feel safe, Celeste makes him feel secure and together they both find that their hearts speak to one another. Filthy Rich is quite a bit more tame than I expected but in the end I felt that it suited the story well and I was happy with the result.
