I would suggest starting with the first book just so that readers that actually invest in the series have a better grasp on the story. However to me it didn't really feel like a biker gang series than it did a bunch of bullies who rode motorcycles. I have to admit that there was some content that made even me who isn't very squeamish feel uncomfortable. Also I would say that the books might need to be sorted into the LGBT category.
