I think its sad that Kristina becomes so obsessed with her rescuer that she allows all her emotional issues to overcome her and that she depends on this being for her happiness, yet there is an underlining kind of bravery in the decisions she makes that leads her into bringing the mysterious stranger back into her life. Although in a small way I do feel like her choices are a bit selfish not intentionally but in a small way they are I do like how she and Derrick come together and how their relationship unfolds.
