Breaking Out
I received a digital and print copy from Netgalley and Berkley in exchange for an honest review.
Hang onto your hats ladies... for those of you that have been following along and reading the first book, you're in for a doozy. I totally get it but I totally wasn't expecting what Lydia surprised us with this time around. The conflict, the heartache, the questions... She did not let up one bit.
I kept turning the pages and reading as fast as I could to find out if she was going to break the monotony of endless what's going to happen now questions but she stayed true to form keeping up with the high tension all the way to her cliff hanging ending that will again leave us on the edge of our seats until the next installment is released. I loved it and I hated it because I want so much to know what happens next!
There were so many times I wanted to throw the book across the room, so many times I wanted to scream at the pages in frustration and at the same time reach through the pages and loll out the therapeutic hugs. Note to readers: try not to bite your nails with this one I lost a few in the duration. (Urg)
Lydia has once again won my complete attention and fandom. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that book three comes out soon!
