Undead and Unwary
I received a print and digital copy in exchange for an honest review from Netgalley and Berkley.
Finally! The book I've been waiting for! The Undead Series is finally reaching maturity!
I have always loved Betsy and this series but there was always just a smidge too much immaturity to really hook me in and give me cause to fall in love. It just wasn't there because it hadn't achieved that stage in its development yet. I was beginning to think that it wouldn't come for a long time if at all but MaryJanice must have anticipated my hopes because this time readers get to see more developing more adult and more mature version of Betsy. Still the same her because we still get to have that spunky and flawed chick we've come to love but in Undead and Unwary there is a step in the right direction that tells us that just as we all do the Undead series is growing up too.
I absolutely loved it. Less drama and childish antics and more seriousness to pull us in deeper into the journey. I can't wait until the next book arrives. It can't come soon enough.
