Scandal and the Duchess
I received a digital edition from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I enjoyed this addition to the MacKenzie / McBride series. It was a bit of the regent delicate flower hoodlum womanizing duke type read but it wasn't over played and it wasn't filled with ridiculous antics that most stories like this tend to obsess over. Some parts were just a little bit too silly but I liked that it kept it light hearted. While the step son was a bit over the top as a punk his position as well as Rose's easily understood. Readers can easily pick as side as who to love and who to hate, but we ofcourse always cheer for the happy ending. Don't worry Jennifer never disappoints because the love she provides always finds it way into her readers hearts at the end. :)
