Vipers Run

I thought Vipers Run had a lot of interesting plot hooks, but the romance half of the story just never felt genuine to me. I felt there was a lot of build up for Calla and there was a lot of back story to fill in the blanks for Christian but the way their relationship started wasn't quite what I expected or believable. I won't say how because I don't want to give it away since its a part of how the story sort of begins to take off, but that's where most of the interesting writing ends.
Its not a bad book but there wasn't enough in it with the characters or the plot that really kept my attention. I wanted so much for there to be more than there was because I had such high expectations of Vipers Run but despite the issues I had connecting to the characters and believing in Calla and Christens relationship in the end it was still worth the read.
