Wickedly Dangerous
I received a print and digital copy in exchange for an honest review from Berkley and Netgalley. Wickedly Dangerous is the first book in the Baba Yaga series, the author Deborah Blake adds a new spin on the old mythology/fairytale by creating a group of hot women with their own stories to tell. In Wickedly Dangerous we get to follow Barbara as she joins sheriff Liam on a missing childrens case.
Wickedly Dangerous is fun, its full of sarcasm and comedy. I loved the interaction between Barbara and her dragon / dog and I especially enjoyed the clashing personalities between Barbara and Liam together. I felt it suited them well because it often allowed the tension building up in the story a release and gave the reader time to ride out the influx of anticipation beautifully.
I enjoyed reading Wickedly Dangerous and I look forward to reading more of the Baba Yaga books in the future!
