Frayed

Frayed - Kim Karr I received a print copy in exchange for an honest review from Berkley.

Where to begin? I'd suggest at the beginning. I had no idea when I started this book that it was part of a series. I suppose I should have paid attention but oh well.
I tried to get into the book unfortunately it wound up in my DNF pile because the story, the characters and the plot were entirely lost on me. I don't know if it was because I was missing most of the background history or details but I just couldn't seem to stick it out to find out what happened for the two kids Ben and Bell.
