I received a print copy in exchange for an honest review from Berkley.
Okay... I'm really not sure what to say about this book. I was lost right from the beginning since I guess its a continuation of a previous book I had no idea about. Being lost on background information the whole time or that as much as the step sibling incest and the demented family problems I really couldn't get a grounding or a foot hold in this story.
Its not poorly written at all because its done well but the story itself threw me for a loop. The sex although disturbing content wise is if it weren't so gross is written in a sexy manner.
The author is a great writer obviously but I just couldn't get into the story. I'd be willing to try to read the book again once I've read the first book but I think the topic more or less pulled me out of my comfort zone and put me into the awkward corner.
