Falling In
I received a print copy in exchange for an honest review from Berkley.
Falling In is a part of the Surrender Trilogy and is the first book in the series. I am glad I started at the beginning because I can't imagine trying to begin the next book at the mid point of where it semi ended. Although there technically was a decent ending there are quite a few hooks in the story left open so I'm assuming those are carried over into book two. Falling In for me really felt like a mix of the movies Maid in Manhattan and Pretty Woman without the prostitution or the kid. Its a great story, I really enjoyed both the main characters Evelyn and Lucian and I really enjoyed them as a combo double punch because they play off eachother so well. I liked getting to see Lucian "wake up" so to speak and I really liked getting to see Evelyn as she finds her way from the streets to finding her way through life and love.
